Power Styles for Paragraph Styles

Power Styles plugin offers three actions for Paragraph Styles (Create All Paragraph Styles, Create Paragraph Style Report and Compare Styles) . These actions are accesssible from drop-down menu of Paragraph Styles dialog box (see figure 8).

Create All Paragraph Styles

The functionality is pretty much the same as Character Styles' one. Create All Paragraph Styles analyzes document, looking for all the paragraphs that are somehow customly formatted but they are not in any style yet, then generates paragraph styles for these (with the name that is derived from the original style and adds the attributr differences. See figure 9) to match that formatting and applies it to the appropriate paragraph.

Create Paragraph Style Report

Creates a paragraph style report and saves it as a TXT files. You can select which styles and paragraph attributes should be considered (figure 10).

Compare Styles

Power Styles plugin offers comparing the styles in table format directly in InDesign. Just select the styles you would like to compare in Paragraph Styles dialog box and right-click on them or click on drop-down menu in Paragraph Styles dialog box and choose Compare Styles. InDesing will automatically generate well-arranged table view of all the atributtes that are different among these styles (figure 11).  The comparative table can be saved as a TXT file.
